Vita Malahova

Vita Malahova holds a BA in Physical Theatre from Accademia Teatro Dimitri in Switzerland and an MA in Expanded Theatre from the University of Applied Sciences in Bern. Her work explores themes of belonging, vanishing traditions, and individual and collective experiences revealed through people’s life stories. Vita has created theatre plays such as “ASK THE BREAD”, “COLORFUL TALES”, and “LAI DZĪVO PUTNI!” as part of the Sansusī Festival program, as well as the documentary play “The Illiterate: A Story of Forgotten Ancestors’ ‘ (HKB Theatre, Bern). She has engaged in international collaborations with theater directors and companies such as Lola Arias, Astragali Teatro (IT), Metropolis (DK), Biloura Collective (IT), and Hakkehuset (DK). Currently, Vita works as a freelance actress and theater artist in Denmark, Switzerland, and Latvia.
